Configure a Dial-up Account

We do provide free dial-up configuration software to help you set up your account. However; everything that you need, such as Windows Dial-Up Networking, is already installed on your computer. Moderately experienced users can usually configure an account manually, and novice users can utilize an easy to use "Wizard" to make set-up a breeze. Read below for instructions and examples on setting up a Covenant Promotions account.

Internet Connection Wizard
The easiest way to set up a new dial-up and email account is to use the Windows Internet Connection Wizard. Simply click on "Start", then "Run", type "icwconn1" into the space, and click on "OK" to start the wizard. Enter the set-up information you received in your new account email.

Manually Set Up a Dial-Up Account
In Windows 98, double click on the "My Computer" icon, then double click on the "Dial Up Networking" folder. Windows ME users should open "Control Panel", then double click on the "Dial Up Networking" icon. Windows XP users can open "Control Panel", then double click on "Network and Dial-Up Connections". Choose "Make New Connection", and name the connection "Covenant Promotions". Click "Next", and enter your local access number. Click "Next", then "Finish" to create a new dialer. Double click on the new dialer icon and enter your username and password to connect to the internet. You may create a short cut to the dialer by simply dragging it to your desktop.
